Placements24 is seeking an Agricultural Inputs Sales Representative to cover Upington and the Northern Cape region. You will build farmer relationships, promote fertilizers, seeds, and crop protection, and provide technical advice to growers.

Responsibilities include planning, prospecting new customers, conducting product demos, and delivering regular sales reports. Travel across the Upington area is expected, with uncapped commission potential and a strong team support structure.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the agricultural sector (inputs like fertilizers, seeds, or crop protection).
• Strong knowledge of crops in the Northern Cape and farming practices.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute a sales plan to meet or exceed targets in the assigned territory.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with farmers and cooperatives.
• Visit customers regularly, provide consultations, and follow up on opportunities.
• Provide technical product recommendations for fertilizers, seeds, and crop protection.
• Conduct product demos and field trials to showcase efficacy.
• Stay informed about market trends and competitors in the region.
• Process orders accurately and manage sales expenses within budget.
• Represent the company at agricultural shows and field days.
