Profile Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Toolsetter for an automotive manufacturing client in the Eastern Cape. The role focuses on setting and maintaining injection mould tools to ensure efficient production, minimal downtime and consistent quality.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with mould setups, possess good fault-finding skills, be detail-oriented and able to work shifts and overtime as required to meet production targets.

• Proven experience as a Toolsetter in injection moulding.
• Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and machinery.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability.

Responsabilidades

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and maintaining tools on injection moulding machines to ensure efficient production, minimal downtime, and consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and change moulds on injection moulding machines
• Optimise machine settings for efficient production and minimal scrap
• Troubleshoot and resolve tooling and machine-related issues
• Monitor production to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform basic maintenance and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience as a Toolsetter in an injection moulding environment (essential)
• Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and machinery
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability
• High attention to detail and quality focus
• Ability to work shifts and overtime when required
• Good communication and teamwork skills
