Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in early childhood education with at least 2 years in supervisory/leadership role with toddlers.
• Strong knowledge of toddler development stages and learning styles.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of child care regulations and safety standards.
• First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Ability to foster an inclusive, stimulating learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee an engaging and age-appropriate toddler curriculum aligned with best practices in early childhood education.
• Manage and mentor a team of toddler educators, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the toddler program, maintaining strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular observations and assessments of children's development, providing feedback to parents and staff.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents, addressing concerns and fostering strong partnerships.
• Manage classroom resources, supplies, and equipment, ensuring a well-equipped and stimulating learning environment.
• Oversee daily routines, including nap times, mealtimes, and hygiene practices, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with center management on policy development, operational improvements, and strategic planning for the toddler program.
