Placements24 is partnering with a prominent financial services group in Nelspruit to hire a Threat Intelligence Analyst. The role focuses on proactively identifying, analyzing, and reporting on cyber threats that could impact the organization.

You will translate complex intelligence into actionable insights for defensive teams. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in threat intelligence or related security roles, familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, TIPs, and SIEM, and possess strong analytical

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
• 2+ years of cybersecurity experience focusing on threat intelligence, security operations, or incident response.
• Strong understanding of the global threat landscape, attacker methodologies (MITRE ATT&CK), and malware analysis.
• Experience with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs), SIEM, and other security tools.
• Excellent analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable intelligence.
• Familiarity with operating systems and network protocols.
• Experience in the financial services sector is a plus.
• GIAC Certified Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) is advantageous.

About the Role Our client, a prominent financial services group headquartered in Nelspruit , is seeking a dedicated Threat Intelligence Analyst to bolster its cybersecurity capabilities. This role focuses on proactively identifying, analyzing, and reporting on cyber threats that could impact the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of the threat landscape, attacker methodologies, and the ability to translate complex intelligence into actionable insights for defensive teams. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze open-source, dark web, and commercial threat intelligence feeds.
