The ideal candidate has 5+ years in information security, with strong threat research and OSINT capabilities, plus experience with TIPs and SIEM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 5+ years in information security with emphasis on threat intelligence/analysis/cybersecurity operations.
• Experience in threat research, intelligence gathering, and analysis of threat actors (nation-state, cybercrime).
• Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs), SIEM tools and security analytics software.
• Strong networking, OS (Windows/Linux) and attack techniques knowledge.
• Python scripting for automation and data analysis is a plus.

About the Role

Our client, a prominent player in the technology sector, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Security Analyst specializing in Threat Intelligence to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in protecting the organization's digital assets against evolving cyber threats. You will be instrumental in proactively identifying, analyzing, and reporting on potential security risks. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the threat landscape, attacker methodologies, and advanced persistent threats (APTs). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of current and emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors relevant to the organization's industry and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain threat intelligence feeds, reports, and dashboards to inform security operations and executive leadership.
• Identify, categorize, and prioritize threats based on potential impact and likelihood.
• Collaborate with security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management teams to provide actionable intelligence.
• Develop and refine threat hunting methodologies and playbooks.
• Perform malware analysis and reverse engineering as needed.
• Monitor open-source intelligence (OSINT), dark web forums, and other relevant sources for threat indicators.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Participate in security awareness training and contribute to a security-conscious culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or CEH are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with a strong focus on threat intelligence, analysis, or cybersecurity operations.
• Proven experience in threat research, intelligence gathering, and analysis of various threat actors (e.g., nation-state, cybercrime).
• Proficiency in using threat intelligence platforms (TIPs), SIEM tools, and other security analytics software.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and common attack techniques.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation and data analysis is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a hybrid work environment.
