Job summary

Lindt & Sprüngli in the Eastern Cape seeks a Key Holder to manage store operations in the absence of management, drive sales, and maintain Lindt standards. You will supervise staff, oversee merchandising and customer service while ensuring banking and opening/closing procedures are followed.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and a retail background with attention to hygiene and safety. This is a full-time on-site position in a premium brand environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification and customer service background.
• Excellent communication and high work ethic to represent a premium brand.
• Confident, responsible and capable of leading in the absence of management.
• Experience in retail, stock replenishment and merchandising.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees and oversee sales, merchandising, customer service in the absence of Store Management.
• Open/close the store following proper procedures; handle banking and lead cashier duties.
• Drive sales on the shop floor; address customer concerns; motivate and train employees.
• Ensure merchandising per Lindt standard; daily stock replenishment; maintain store cleanliness.
• Assist in stock counts; unpacking, restocking, and deliveries; adhere to safety policies.
• Maintain compliance with policies and procedures; uphold health and safety standards.
• Record sampling and monitor waste; quality control products; ensure a neat, presentable environment.
• Maintain fixtures, glass cabinets and floors; uphold grooming and company image.
