Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a Thermal specialization.
• Minimum 5 years' professional experience in thermal engineering and analysis.
• Expertise in heat transfer, fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
• Proficiency with thermal simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL) and CAD tools.
• Experience with thermal testing equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• On-site collaboration with possible remote task work.
• Experience in electronics cooling or power electronics is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed thermal analysis and simulations using ANSYS Icepak, Fluent, or similar.
• Design and develop thermal management solutions including heat sinks, fans, liquid cooling, and TIMs.
• Conduct experimental testing and validation of thermal designs and analyze results.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers to integrate thermal solutions.
• Develop thermal models and predict behavior under operating conditions.
• Identify and implement innovative thermal technologies to improve efficiency.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations on thermal analysis and design.
• Troubleshoot thermal-related issues in prototypes and production units.
• Stay abreast of latest advancements in heat transfer and thermal management.
• Contribute to the development of design standards and best practices.
