Placements24 seeks a skilled Therapeutic Social Worker to join our Stellenbosch team, providing counseling to individuals and families using CBT, psychodynamic approaches, and family systems to address emotional and behavioral health needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and maintain confidential records.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Social Work, SACSSP registration, and proven experience delivering client-centered interventions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work with specialization in therapeutic counseling.
• Registered with SACSSP as a Social Worker.
• Demonstrated experience in providing therapeutic counseling services.
• Proficiency in therapeutic modalities: CBT, psychodynamic therapy, family systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapeutic assessments to understand clients' emotional and psychological needs.
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions (individual, family, group).
• Provide support for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues.
• Collaborate with psychologists, psychiatrists, educators for holistic care.
• Maintain confidential client records per professional ethics.
• Facilitate psycho-educational groups and workshops.
• Advocate for clients and connect them with community resources.
