Job summary

Clinix Botshelong-Empilweni Private Hospital in Vosloorus seeks a Unit Manager: Theatre to oversee theatre operations, mentor nursing staff and manage budget. You will ensure quality patient care and regulatory compliance while coordinating ward clerks and theatre nurses.

The role requires a Nursing qualification with Operating Room and Nursing Administration credentials, SANC registration, and BLS. Prior private hospital theatre exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Nursing qualification at diploma or degree level.
• Diploma or degree in Operating Room Nursing.
• Nursing Administration qualification.
• Current registration with South African Nursing Council.
• BLS qualification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, coordinate and oversee unit operations and processes.
• Mentor, coach, train and develop nursing staff in the unit.
• Manage the unit budget and drive cost saving initiatives.
• Ensure quality patient care and stakeholder engagement.
• Adhere to SANC Acts, DOH standards and CPD requirements.
