Botshilu Private Hospital in Gauteng seeks an experienced Enrolled Nurse for Theatre with at least two years in private healthcare. Registration with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse is required, along with experience in clinical procedures and patient care.

You will ensure legal patient records, manage stock and equipment, mentor junior staff, and contribute to a safe, evidence-based theatre environment.

Qualifications

• Registration with South African Nursing Council as Enrolled Nurse.
• Private healthcare experience preferred.
• Ensure patient records meet legal requirements.
• Competent in demonstration and assessment of clinical procedures.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control procedures.
• Identify and report near-misses and adverse events.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate effectively with the nursing team.

Responsabilités

• Delivers comprehensive patient care within the Enrolled Nurse scope.
• Manage and control stock and equipment in the Unit.
• Mentor junior staff and promote teamwork.
• Conduct patient care audits and maintain safety standards.
• Report medico-legal risks and maintain infection control.
