Job summary

Mediclinic Brits in South Africa seeks a detail-oriented Theatre Scheduling Administrator to ensure accurate scheduling of theatre cases and optimal use of resources. You will load bookings, allocate wards, and distribute theatre lists according to hospital procedures.

Grade 12 and computer experience are essential; theatre/ICU scheduling and AS400 experience are desirable. This on-site role offers stability in a busy private health facility with opportunities to contribute to patient care.

Qualifications

• Essential: Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Experience using computer systems.
• Ability to apply clinical codes up to level 1.
• Experience in theatre scheduling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule theatre cases accurately to support hospital requirements.
• Distribute theatre lists to relevant parties in a timely manner.
• Load bookings and allocate wards to optimise bed usage.
• Support AS400 and coding tasks as required.
