Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a Test Manager to own all testing activities for ERP projects. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure thorough testing and timely delivery while also participating in requirements gathering, design reviews and overall project management.

The role requires leading a large testing team, defining testing strategies, and coordinating cross-functional dependencies to meet audit and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requirements include a degree or diploma in CS/Math or related field.
• Experience in end-to-end testing on ERP projects.
• Experience managing a large testing team.
• Experience defining testing strategies and approaches.
• Experience with DevOps testing tools and test automation (RSAT).

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the Test plan with the testing team.
• Oversee test case creation in DevOps.
• Control test execution according to the schedule.
• Maintain a detailed testing schedule tracked by the PM and testers.
• Produce and review Testing progress reports.
• Handle defect management, reporting, escalation and expediting.
• Coordinate cross-stream dependencies on projects.
• Prepare Test closure reports and audit-compliant deliverables.

Job description

As a Test Manager, you'll be responsible for all testing activities within the company. You will work closely with our engineers to ensure that all software is tested thoroughly and on time. You will also be involved in other aspects of development including requirements gathering, design reviews, and project management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field required
• Test Management experience - managing end-to-end testing on ERP projects
• Test Management experience in working with a large testing team
• Experience in defining testing strategies, approaches
• Experience in working in DevOps testing tool, Extracting Data for Test Reporting, and setting up test automation ("E.g. RSAT")

Requirements

• Managing the successful completion of the following testing deliverables and activities :
• Management of Test plan definition with Test Lead, Testing project manager, and or testing team
• Overseeing test Case creation in DevOps
• Test execution management according to schedule
• Ensuring there is a Detailed Testing schedule, and being tracked by testing PM and testers
• Ensuring there the Testing progress reporting is completed by Team.
• Defect management, report, escalation, and expediting
• Managing cross-stream dependencies on projects
• Test closure reports
• Ensure testing deliverables meet audit requirements
