Job summary

Zensar Technologies in Johannesburg seeks a Test Analyst with strong domain expertise in Employee Benefits, Insurance, Pension Administration, and Claims Processing. The role validates requirements, designs and executes tests, and ensures quality across benefits and claims systems.

The successful candidate will work with BAs, Developers, and Business Users to deliver robust test coverage, participate in sprint ceremonies, and support production validation.

Qualifications

• Ability to design and execute comprehensive test scenarios and scripts.
• Proficiency in managing defects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated tests (where applicable).
• Perform Functional, SIT, Regression, UAT, and End-to-End testing.
• Validate benefits and claims-related workflows and processes.
• Document defects and track them to resolution.
• Collaborate with Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Users.
• Prepare test reports, dashboards, and metrics.
• Support production validation and deployment activities.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst with strong domain expertise in Employee Benefits, Insurance, Pension Administration, and Claims Processing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating business and system requirements, designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality of applications supporting employee benefits and claims management processes.

The successful candidate should possess a good understanding of end-to-end benefits administration, claims lifecycle management, policy servicing, and regulatory compliance within the insurance and employee benefits domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Create detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute manual and/or automated testing activities.
• Perform Functional, System Integration, Regression, UAT, and End-to-End testing.
• Validate employee benefits and claims-related business processes and workflows.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Business Users.
• Review requirements to ensure testability and completeness.
• Participate in requirement walkthroughs and sprint ceremonies.
• Prepare test reports, dashboards, and defect metrics.
• Support production validation and deployment activities.
• Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and testing methodologies.
