Job summary

Ability Executive Recruitment in Mossel Bay seeks a proactive Sales Representative to build local presence and grow new business. The role is field-based, working with the operations partner branch to onboard and service customers won by the rep.

You will prospect, visit clients, present quotes, and close deals to meet monthly targets, while developing the local territory and building a trusted brand in the community. A strong communicator with a driver’s license will thrive.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years sales or business development experience.
• Strong local knowledge and network in Mossel Bay.
• Comfortable with face-to-face meetings with business owners.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work in the field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Courier, logistics or SME sales experience a plus.
• Experience with courier systems such as Shiplogic or Parcel Perfect.

Responsibilities

• New business development: prospecting, client visits, presentations, quotations and closing to monthly targets.
• Territory and presence building: develop the local territory and a visible presence in the business community.
• Customer relationships and retention: grow repeat usage and volume.
• Work with operations: coordinate with local branch to align promises with delivery.
• Administration and reporting: maintain pipeline and report against targets.
