Job summary

Time Personnel in Cape Town seeks a detail-oriented Tender & Costing Specialist to prepare accurate costings, estimates and quotations from plans and measurements. The role requires strong numerical accuracy, proficient Excel/Google Sheets skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple quotations while maintaining data integrity.

You will work closely with customers, suppliers and the team, applying GP and margin rules across categories and ensuring each quote is thoroughly reviewed before

Qualifications

• Matric required; building or QS qualification advantageous.
• Experience in costing, estimating, tendering or quoting, preferably in building sectors.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Proficient English communication with customers, suppliers, and team.
• Strong maths ability; confident reading plans and specs.
• Proficient Excel and Google Sheets (lookups, formulas, pivots).

Responsibilities

• Prepare costings, tenders and quotations from plans and measurements.
• Apply GP and margin rules across product categories.
• Review every quote before submission.
• Own product information: naming, coding, and supplier data in systems.
• Verify information with colleagues and manage stock reservations.
• Support front-end tasks during quoting (sales inbox, samples, communication).
