Placements24 is seeking a diligent Telecoms Installation Technician to join their Vereeniging team. The role focuses on the physical installation, configuration, and testing of telecommunications equipment at customer sites and within company infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Installation Technician or in a similar hands-on technical role, preferably in telecoms.
• Knowledge of telecommunications cabling standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with common telecom equipment and testing tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
• Good physical condition and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces if required.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure telecommunications hardware, including cabling, routers, switches, and modems.
