Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Telecommunications Installation Technician to join its field operations team in Polokwane. The role involves deploying and maintaining telecom infrastructure, fiber optic cables, network equipment, and related systems for residential and business clients.

You will install, test, and troubleshoot, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. The installer will read plans, work at heights, and travel around Polokwane within Limpopo.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in telecommunications installation, low-voltage cabling, or a related field.
• Familiarity with fiber optic splicing, termination, and testing procedures is advantageous.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including IP addressing, Wi‑Fi standards, and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to work at heights and in varied weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record for travel to client sites in Polokwane.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
