Job summary

Express Employment Professionals Midrand is seeking a Marketplace Operations Specialist to own day-to-day Takealot account performance, ensure policy compliance, and optimise listings and pricing. You will collaborate across sales, marketing and logistics to boost online sales and profitability.

You will manage inventory forecasting, promotions planning and KPI reporting, with a focus on high-volume marketplace success and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years' hands-on experience managing a high-volume online marketplace.
• Proven experience managing Takealot Seller Portal is essential.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and commercial decision-making ability.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the daily operation and commercial performance of the client's Takealot marketplace account.
• Ensure compliance with Takealot marketplace policies, requirements and SLAs.
• Manage and optimise marketplace performance to maximise online sales and profitability.
• Monitor marketplace health, performance metrics and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to expand the client's online market share.
• Manage the complete marketplace listing lifecycle and content accuracy.
• Coordinate pricing strategies, promotions and ROI forecasting.
• Forecast stock requirements and coordinate replenishment with warehouse.
• Monitor returns and customer experience across online channels.
• Produce regular marketplace reports and KPI analyses.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Finance and Logistics for end-to-end execution.
