Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Billing Systems Analyst for its Stellenbosch finance and operations team. You will manage and optimize the telecoms billing platform, configure pricing, and ensure accurate invoicing for a diverse client base.

The role involves analyzing billing data, testing system upgrades, and collaborating with IT, customer service, and finance to resolve issues and improve revenue assurance. Hybrid work options are available in Stellenbosch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in billing systems analysis, preferably telecoms.
• Experience with telecommunications billing cycles, rating, and invoicing processes.
• Proficiency with billing software and databases (e.g., SQL).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Experience with revenue assurance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the billing platform for integrity and performance.
• Configure offerings, rate plans, and pricing in the billing system.
• Analyze billing data to identify trends, discrepancies, and revenue leakage.
• Develop and execute test plans for upgrades, patches, and features.
• Generate and validate billing reports for management and finance.
• Collaborate with IT to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
