Job summary

You will work under supervision in a structured maintenance environment, performing basic troubleshooting and paint-related tasks on aircraft surfaces and assemblies in line with task cards and work instructions.

• Entry level position in aviation maintenance.

• Carry out maintenance, servicing, self-inspection, repairs and testing on aircraft engines, airframes and components.
• Follow task cards, check sheets and work instructions and comply with SAAT requirements and regulatory authority rules.

The Aviation Technician will perform maintenance inclusive of servicing, self-inspecting, repairs, overhaul, testing, basic trouble shooting and modifications to aircraft engines, airframes and components in accordance with task cards, check sheets and work instructions, complying with SAAT Manufacturers and regulatory authority requirements to SAA and customer aircraft.
