Job summary

FEM in Rosebank, Johannesburg, invites applications for a Technical Team Lead to provide technical leadership and hands-on development within our software team. You will design, develop and deliver secure, scalable solutions using Microsoft technologies, guiding best practices and architectural decisions.

Job description

Applications are invited for the Technical Team Lead position in Head Office based in Rosebank. The objective of this role would be technical leadership and hands-on development expertise within our software development team. The successful candidate would be responsible for designing, developing and delivering secure, scalable and high-quality solutions using modern Microsoft technologies.

The minimum requirements of the position are Matric with either a recognized diploma or B degree in IT or relevant proven experience with full stack development. Agile, web design and development of multi-tier application experience required. Domain driven design is preferable.

The position requires a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Software Developer in an enterprise environment, proficient in C#, .NET, Entity framework, Angular, Oracle and SQL Server, Cloud (preferably Azure) and DevOps.

The successful candidate will contribute to technical roadmaps, solution design and continuous improvement initiatives according to the company’s strategy and needs. Knowledge of financial services processes specifically in insurance or COIDA will be advantageous.
