Zusammenfassung

Gilbarco Veeder-Root, a Vontier company, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer in Johannesburg to drive after-sales technical support and product trainings across MEA. You will own issues end-to-end, work with internal teams, train customers, and contribute to quality audits and problem management.

Requires 3–5 years in a similar role, strong English communication, and a background in electronics/electro-mechanical engineering.

Qualifikationen

3–5 years’ experience in a similar technical support role.
Clear understanding of integration processes and networking concepts.
Understanding of dataflow and communication protocols.
Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.

Aufgaben

Provide technical support for reported issues and ensure resolution.
Own reported issues and drive them through to closure.
Log and track service requests for reporting purposes.
Collaborate with internal/external teams to resolve tickets.
Escalate unresolved issues per standard procedures.
Train internal and external teams on product lines.
Conduct on-site quality audits as part of quality program.
Follow up with stakeholders and customers to feedback and resolution.
Participate in problem management to analyze recurrent incidents.
