Job summary

Wild Dreams Hospitality seeks a hands-on technologist to build and oversee a multi-property tech landscape. You will write SQL, shape architecture decisions, and hold vendors and partners accountable while ensuring coherence and supportability across a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a hands-on technical role such as Technical Lead, Senior Developer, or Solution Analyst.
• Proven track record building and supporting enterprise systems, integrations, and data solutions.
• Strong SQL skills, including writing queries and developing stored procedures.
• Hands-on development experience with APIs, integrations, and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, SSRS) or modern frameworks.
• Experience designing system integrations, data flows, and technical dependencies.
• Comfortable operating across development teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Clear communicator, able to explain technical trade-offs and risks to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight across digital products, internal systems, platforms, and upgrades.
• Contribute hands-on to development, integrations, reporting, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate solution and vendor proposals for technical fit, security, data integrity, and long-term sustainability.
• Coordinate systems upgrades, integrations, and technical initiatives, including testing, readiness, documentation, and handover.
• Brief external developers and vendors on internal systems, data structures, and constraints so they deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Partner closely with Infrastructure, Systems Operations, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are supportable and compatible.
• Flag risks around vendor lock-in, fragmented architecture, weak integrations, or security gaps.
• Champion standardisation, integration discipline, and cohesive solution architecture across the business.
• Deliver clear, well-reasoned recommendations on solution risks, trade-offs, and long-term impact.
