Job summary

Gap Consulting in Johannesburg seeks a senior technical sales specialist with deep experience in water treatment. You will leverage your chemical engineering background to promote water treatment chemicals, engage with key customers, and drive sales growth across the Gauteng region.

A Diploma or degree in chemical engineering is required or advantageous; a valid driver's license and proven solution selling track record are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in Chemical or Water Treatment, with at least 5 years in Technical Sales.
• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related field; degree in Chemical Engineering advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Water Treatment Chemicals and applications.
• Proven track record in solution selling and business development.
• Valid driver's license and own transport; references and payslips available.

Minimum Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 10 years' experience within a Chemical or Water Treatment Environment, with at least 5 years experience in a Technical Sales capacity
• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related field required | Degree in Chemical Engineering advantageous
• Strong knowledge of Water Treatment Chemicals
• Technical knowledge of Water Treatment applications, Processes and Dosing Solutions
• Practical experience in Jar Testing | pH | Turbidity and Hardness Testing
• Proven track record in Solution Selling | Business Development | Increasing Sales and Managing Key Customer relationships
• Valid Driver's License and own Transport required
• Contactable references and payslips required
