Codehesion is seeking an intermediate Technical Recruiter to join our HR team in Centurion. You will drive end-to-end recruitment for software development roles and partner closely with engineering leads to secure top tech talent.

The role offers growth within the HR department and a hybrid work model. You will source candidates via LinkedIn and other boards, screen for technical fit, manage the ATS, and report on key metrics.

Job description

We are looking for a driven and experienced Intermediate Technical Recruiter to join our HR team. Reporting directly to the HR Administrator, you will work hand-in-hand with HR to drive end-to-end recruitment within the fast-paced software development space. This close working relationship is key to ensuring quick turnaround times and securing the right talent efficiently. You will play a critical part in scaling our engineering teams and shaping the future of our organisation.

This position includes a placement commission structure, rewarding your success in filling key roles quickly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for software development roles, from job briefing through to offer and onboarding
• Source and engage passive and active candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and direct outreach
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, refine job descriptions, and align on candidate profiles
• Conduct screening interviews and technical competency assessments in collaboration with engineering leads
• Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate candidate data and pipeline progress
• Drive a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
• Track and report on key recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, source of hire, and pipeline conversion
• Stay informed on trends in the tech talent market, including compensation benchmarks and in-demand skills

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of recruitment experience, with a focus on technical or software development roles
• Proven track record of successfully filling roles in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Solid understanding of software development roles, tech stacks, and engineering terminology
• Experience using ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining quality and speed
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working with measurable targets
• Experience in an agency or in-house tech recruitment environment
• Exposure to recruiting for roles such as software engineers, DevOps, business analysts, designers, or project managers
• Familiarity with competency-based or structured interviewing frameworks
