Job summary

VF! is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Operations team in Cape Town. You will guide technical projects, align with sales/design teams, and ensure OTIFNE standards (On Time, In Full, No Errors, within Budget) are met.

You will manage costing, prototyping, production, quality control and installations, delivering prototypes and client-ready solutions while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Provide technical guidance to clients and teams, deploying practical, cost-competitive manufacturing approaches.
• Manage costing, prototyping, production, quality control and project installations.
• Prepare and issue RFQs with internal teams and suppliers to ensure best value.
• Use SolidWorks for 3D modelling, drawings and problem-solving support.
• Ensure projects are on time, in full, within budget and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders for effective project communication.
• Perform timeline and critical-path management with detailed financial tracking and reporting.
• Engage with clients to clarify requirements, update progress and manage expectations.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and drive project procurement.
• Participate in R&D and innovation to enhance VF's product offerings.
• Office-based with regular site visits to production and installation locations; may require extended hours.
