SET Recruitment Consultants seeks a skilled Project Manager to lead strategic manufacturing and engineering projects in the Western Cape. This on-site role oversees initiation to final sign-off, ensuring timely and within-budget execution with strong stakeholder communication.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management within engineering/manufacturing, a strong MS Project/Excel/Word background, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management within engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Strong technical background with MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word and technical support.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage designates projects from initiation through final sign-off, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Define project scopes, develop schedules, and monitor budgets effectively.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and conduct on-site visits for scope clarification.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing and installation phases.
• Coordinate quality inspections and manage engineering change processes.
• Track progress and implement corrective measures proactively.
• Support customer inquiries, prepare formal quotations, and manage machine audits and breakdowns.
