Job summary

Barloworld Equipment (Pty) Ltd seeks an experienced Learning Facilitator to deliver theory and practical training for heavy earthmoving systems in line with Caterpillar curricula. You will assess learner progress and coach technical staff to meet OEM and regulatory standards.

You will coordinate with the Learning Manager: Technical and engage with customers to ensure quality programmes are implemented and training materials are ready. Strong communication and coaching skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified in relevant trade (Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic) – Red Seal.
• Four years’ post-qualification field service experience.
• Experience in coaching will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning interventions according to the Caterpillar prescribed quality levels.
• Conduct theoretical and practical training on technical systems and components as required by the curriculum.
• Assess learning as per pre-defined processes.
• Coach and develop technical learners to the highest standard including OEM and regulatory standards.
• Implement the checklists/quality controls provided by the Learning Manager: Technical.
• Conduct training at customer sites as required.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure implementation of quality programmes/courses.
• Manage and implement quality learning practices including assessment of learning and course certification.
