Cape Umbrellas in Airport City, Cape Town seeks a detail‑oriented Technical Junior Cost Accountant to join the finance and operations team. You will support product costing, margin analysis, and BOM maintenance within a fast-paced production environment.

The role emphasizes strong numerical skills, Excel proficiency, and collaboration with production, procurement, and finance. A diploma or degree in cost accounting or finance is required, with 1–2 years of related experience being advantageous.

• Diploma or Degree in Cost & Management Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing or technical environment advantageous.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory control advantageous.
• Knowledge of Pastel Evolution Package.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly stock counts and inventory reconcilations.

Technical Junior Cost Accountant

Location: Airport City, Cape Town

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with product costing and margin analysis

• Support monthly stock counts and inventory reconciliations
