The Recruitment Center is seeking a hands-on Water Treatment Technician to install and service filtration, softening, RO and chemical dosing systems across Gauteng, including Kempton Park.

You will assemble pipework, assist with commissioning, perform inspections, document site activities, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Local and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years experience installing and/or servicing water treatment systems.
• Experience with filtration, softeners, reverse osmosis and chemical dosing systems advantageous.
• Electrical fault-finding experience would be advantageous.
• Basic Plumbing and mechanical installation would be advantageous.
• Physically fit and medically able to work on industrial and mining sites.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Passport will be beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Install water treatment systems including filtration, softening, reverse osmosis systems and chemical dosing.
• Assemble pipework, valves, pumps and associated equipment according to engineering drawings.
• Assist Engineers with the commissioning and start-up of water treatment systems.
• Perform pre-commissioning inspections and quality checks.
• Diagnose and resolve installation-related issues on site.
• Conduct routine system inspections and basic performance assessments.
• Complete installation reports, commissioning checklists and site documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with company quality standards and health & safety requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles in good working condition.
• Build positive relationships with customers through professional service and communication.
• Travel locally and internationally as required.
