Job summary

Network Finance seeks a commercially driven Technical Account Manager to manage distributors and direct customers, grow existing accounts and provide technical and commercial support. The role is based in Pomona, Kempton Park and requires extensive regional travel.

Qualifications

• At least five years’ technical sales experience in lubrication, hydraulics, heavy equipment, transportation or related industrial markets.
• Experience selling equipment, accessories, systems or technical services.
• Proven new-business development and sales achievements.
• Experience managing distributors and direct customers.
• Strong technical presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Project or contract-management experience would be advantageous.
• CRM, Salesforce, SAP or BAAN experience would be beneficial.
• Willingness to travel between 50% and 75% of the time.
• Valid, unendorsed driver’s licence.
• South African citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional sales plans and identify market opportunities.
• Deliver product training and support pump and lubrication-system selection.
• Manage distributors and direct customers and grow existing accounts.
• Lead commercial negotiations and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
• Travel extensively (50–75%).
