Job summary

Collinson Group is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Technology Finance function in Cape Town. The role involves data capture, validation, cost modelling and automated dashboards to track software costs and capitalisation compliance.

You will partner with stakeholders to provide clear project cost visibility and budgeting input. The ideal candidate has a Finance/Accounting discipline background, 1–3 years in corporate finance or analytics, and strong Excel and BI skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related quantitative discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in corporate finance, project accounting or data analytics.
• Baseline understanding of asset capitalisation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Data capture and capitalisation tracking across technology initiatives.
• Validate inputs and transform data into structured cost models.
• Create and maintain interactive financial dashboards and reports.
• Monitor technology expenditure and perform variance analysis.
• Support month-end close and budgeting processes.
• Deliver forward-looking project forecasts and cost packs.
