Job summary

Shift Pursuit in Bellville is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of clients, manage tax compliance requirements and deliver quality tax services as part of a dedicated team.

The ideal candidate will have strong SARS eFiling experience, be proficient in GreatSoft and preferably be a registered tax practitioner with completed Articles, enabling timely submissions and accurate consultations.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Accounting, Taxation or a related field.
• Completed Articles preferred.
• Registered Tax Practitioner (SAIT) preferred.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with SARS eFiling.
• Experience with GreatSoft is essential.
• Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts.
• Understanding of tax compliance and SARS processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts.
• Responding to SARS queries, including verifications and related correspondence.
• Ensuring all tax submissions and compliance matters for the client portfolio are up to date.
• Managing client matters on SARS eFiling.
• Billing clients for tax services rendered.
• Assisting with general tax compliance matters as they arise.
• Working with the team responsible for each client portfolio to ensure efficient and accurate tax service delivery.

Requirements:
