The role involves preparing income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts, responding to SARS queries and ensuring timely submissions, while collaborating with the tax team to deliver accurate results.

Qualifications

• Experienced Tax Manager to manage tax compliance for a portfolio of clients.
• SARS eFiling expertise and tax compliance acumen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts
• Respond to SARS queries, verifications and correspondence
• Ensure all tax submissions and compliance matters are up to date
• Manage client matters on SARS eFiling
• Bill clients for tax services rendered
• Assist with general tax compliance matters as required
• Manage and maintain a portfolio of tax clients
• Strong working knowledge of SARS eFiling
• Previous experience in tax compliance
• Experience managing a tax client portfolio advantageous
• Registration as a Tax Practitioner preferable
• GreatSoft experience advantageous
• Exposure to BSharp advantageous

Tax Manager - Bellville, Western Cape

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join a professional tax team and manage the tax compliance requirements for a portfolio of clients.

The successful candidate will work closely with the broader tax team and other Tax Managers to ensure that all client tax matters are handled accurately, efficiently and within required deadlines.

• Prepare and submit income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts
• Respond to SARS queries, verifications and correspondence
• Ensure all tax submissions and compliance matters are kept up to date
• Manage client matters on SARS eFiling
• Bill clients for tax services rendered
• Assist with general tax compliance matters as required
