Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent HR Officer to manage recruitment and onboarding in Polokwane, ensuring a steady flow of talent and a welcoming onboarding experience for new hires. You will partner with hiring managers to understand needs and execute effective sourcing and selection strategies.

This role requires 2-4 years in HR with a focus on recruitment, proficiency with HRIS/ATS, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 2-4 years HR experience with focus on recruitment and onboarding.
• Experience with recruitment sourcing tools and platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office and HRIS/ATS.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing candidates, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
• Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and advertising platforms.
• Prepare and extend job offers, ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed.
• Design and implement effective onboarding programs for new employees.
• Conduct onboarding orientation sessions and ensure new hires have resources to succeed.
• Maintain accurate recruitment and onboarding records in the HR Information System (HRIS).
