Job summary

Pep is seeking a Warehouse IT & Analytics Specialist to ensure reliability of WMS while defining functional requirements for enhancements. You will bridge Distribution Centre Operators and business units, analyze data, and support planning and execution of WMS projects.

Responsibilities include extracting WMS data, validating SOP conformance, testing new features, translating warehouse needs into specs, and presenting insights to leadership for capital decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience extracting and analyzing WMS data.
• Ability to translate warehouse needs into technical specifications.
• Experience coordinating with software providers and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as bridge between Distribution Centre Operators and the business.
• Extract and analyze WMS data to provide insights on inventory accuracy and throughput.
• Manage system configuration and enhancement requirements to match DC processes.
• Provide support to warehouse users to resolve hardware and software issues.
• Test new features in a complex warehouse environment before go-live.

• Work with vendors to translate requirements into integration specs.
• Analyze warehouse movements to suggest automated solutions that save time or reduce errors.
• Present technical insights to leadership to inform capital investments.
• Support the project team with guidance on new/enhanced processes.
• Ensure urgency is applied to prioritised tickets and projects.
• Leverage AI to improve operations and reporting.

Ensure the reliability and stability of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) while defining functional requirements for future enhancements. Act as a key partner to the business by providing the analytical data and support necessary for effective planning and execution of WMS support.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between the Distribution Centre Operators and the business.

• Extracting and analyzing WMS data to provide insights into inventory accuracy, operational tasks, conformance to SOP, and throughput reports.

• Manage system configuration and enhancement requirements to match changing Distribution Centre processes and layouts.

• Providing support to the warehouse users to resolve hardware and software issues.

• Testing new features to ensure they work in a complex warehouse environment before going live.

• Identifying where the current WMS falls short of business needs and documenting the functional requirements for upgrades.

• Working with software providers and development teams to translate warehouse requirements into technical and integration specifications.

• Analyzing physical warehouse movements to suggest system automated solutions that save time or reduce errors.

• Presenting technical insights to business leaders to help them make informed decisions on capital investments.

• Support the project team through providing guidance on new or enhanced processes through understanding the system capabilities

• Ensure the correct level of urgency is applied to the prioritised support tickets and projects

• Leverage AI capabilities to improve and enhance daily operations and reporting
