Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage and support company systems and infrastructure in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and providing support for database and systems issues while liaising with the development team. Ideal candidates should have a Grade 12 qualification, a diploma or degree in IT administration, and several years of experience in IT network administration. Own transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of IT network admin experience or senior experience preferred.
• 2-3 years in supporting customer-built systems required.
• Must have own car and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Look after the company's system infrastructure and servers.
• Help troubleshoot database issues.

Key responsibilities

• Look after company system infrastructure, servers, connectivity, integration support, etc.
• Help with trouble shooting database issues
• Help with trouble shooting systems and providing feedback to development team
• Help with testing of all systems and providing test results to developers

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Diploma or Degree in IT administration, MCSE, etc.
• 4-5 years IT network admin experience or senior experience a bonus
• 2-3 years in supporting customer-built systems.
