Job summary

Prime System Solutions in Cape Town seeks a System and Network Administrator to oversee IT infrastructure across client environments, delivering hands-on expertise in Windows Server, virtualization, and cloud services to ensure secure, reliable operations.

You will manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, firewalls, VPNs, and remote access, and collaborate with teams using ConnectWise, Kaseya, and ServiceNow while maintaining documentation and disaster recovery plans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a System and Network Administrator across client environments.
• Experience with Windows Server and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, or VMware (MCSA/CCNA/VCP) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain client network infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless tech.
• Manage server environments on-premises and in the cloud, using Windows Server and virtualization.
• Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure environments with user mgmt and policies.
• Implement and maintain firewalls and VPN solutions for secure remote access.
• Provide Level 1/2 support and document configurations in ticketing systems.
• Monitor performance and contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
