Job summary

Mediclinic Southern Africa is building a talent pool for a Support Resource Officer, with January 2027 as the anticipated start. This unique opportunity allows you to contribute to a high-performing customer experience environment from the ground up, shaping service delivery and EMS coordination across the region.

The role focuses on dispatching vehicles, handling calls and alerts, and providing basic contact centre administration, with emphasis on English communication and EMS context.

Qualifications

• Essential Grade 12 education.
• Desired: BAA or Level 3 First Aid Certification.
• Experience in contact centre or EMS alarm handling.
• Dispatching experience in EMS contact centre preferred (1–3 yrs).

Responsibilities

• Dispatch vehicles according to the CAD system.
• Assist in receiving, prioritising, logging, and processing calls and alerts.
• Provide basic contact centre administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Dispatch vehicles according to the CAD system

Assist in receiving, prioritise, logging, and processing all calls and alerts received

Provide basic contact centre administration

Required Education

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 12

DESIRED EDUCATION: BAA/ Level 3 first aid Certification

Required Experience

ESSENTIAL MININUM EXPERIENCE: Contact Centre / Emergency Contact Centre exposure

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 1 – 3 years dispatching in an EMS contact centre
