Job summary

The HEINEKEN Company based in Springs invites applications for a permanent Manufacturing general worker role. The successful candidate will report to the Team Leader in the Supply Chain function and be based at Springs manufacturing site.

Responsibilities include cleaning, feeding packaging lines, handling reworks, and adhering to safety procedures while supporting mini business activities. Shift work including nights may be required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Packaging Skills Programme required.
• Experience as a general worker in a Production environment is preferred.
• FoodBev Leadership will be an advantage.

Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position to be based in Manufacturing Springs, this person will report to the Team Leader.

You will be required to do the following:

• Cleaning of floors, machines, conveyors, and areas in and around production lines
• Supply production machines with Packaging area.
• Perform reworks on non-conforming products.
• Adhere to safe working procedures, practices, and safety regulations at all times.
• Actively involved in all Mini business activities

The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• FoodBev Leadership will be an advantage.
• Experience as a general worker in a Production environment.

Must have Packaging Skills Programme.

• Ability to work under pressure.
• Must be physically healthy and strong to perform strenuous duties from time to time.
• Ability to initiate action spontaneously without being urged on to do so.
• Must be willing to work shifts, including night shift, Public Holidays, overtime and weekends, if required.
• The ability to work within a team is essential.
• To reflect good corporate governance towards colleagues, supervisors, and company values.
