Srg Financial Placements is seeking a seasoned Materials Planner to optimize materials flow, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, and ensure efficient inventory management across projects.

The role emphasizes SAP-driven planning, ISO 9001/ISO 14001 awareness, and accurate forecasting to support international and local operations while maintaining cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in inventory/materials planning.
• SAP experience is essential.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, imports/exports and shipping processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee materials planning to meet targets and reduce working capital.
• Manage inventory, year-end counts, and monitor KPIs.
• Analyze and forecast orders to meet demand for projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align objectives.
• Ensure IT tools are used effectively and maintain reliable inventory processes.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Materials Planning: Ensure adherence to the overall materials planning process, identify and escalation disruptions or deviations, and work towards meeting DIH targets and reducing working capital
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control and management, including year-end stock counts, stock accuracy and monitoring key inventory KPIs
• Planning & Forecasting: Analyse and forecast orders to meet customer demands and support new projects, while ensuring effective materials planning with local and international input planners
• Stakeholder Coordination: Drive discussions and alignment with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure company objectives relating to materials, stock and customer requirements are achieved
• Process & Systems Management: Ensure all required IT functionalities are effectively utilised and maintain a professional, methodical and reliable approach to materials and inventory processes

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent qualification , preferably in Production, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position , with strong inventory management and materials planning experience
• SAP experience is essential, together with strong computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and M365
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 , with an understanding of product knowledge and imports/exports and shipping processes
