Job summary

DHL Supply Chain South Africa is seeking a focused Supply Chain Optimization Analyst to advance logistics operations in Pretoria. You will analyze end-to-end data, identify bottlenecks, and develop predictive models and dashboards to support decision‑makers.

Collaborating with transport, warehousing, and IT, you will design cost‑saving initiatives, improve service levels, and ensure adherence to DHL standards. A 3–5 year background in supply chain analysis and a Bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• Candidates with APICS/Lean Six Sigma certifications are highly regarded.
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain analysis or logistics planning preferred.
• Strong data analytics, visualization, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze end‑to‑end supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain predictive models for demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
• Collaborate with transportation planners to improve route efficiency and reduce emissions.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports for senior leadership using Power BI or Tableau.
• Monitor KPIs such as order fulfillment rate and on‑time delivery.
