About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Industrial Engineer to optimize logistics and operational flows for their operations based near Richards Bay . This critical role focuses on improving the efficiency of the entire supply chain, from inbound materials to outbound distribution. You will analyze existing supply chain processes, identify areas for enhancement, and implement innovative solutions to reduce costs, improve delivery times, and enhance overall service levels. This position is ideal for an engineer with a strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and process optimization, looking to make a substantial impact in the KwaZulu-Natal region.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and map current supply chain processes, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the supply chain and develop data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Design and implement optimized logistics networks, warehouse layouts, and material flow strategies.
• Develop and manage inventory control systems to minimize holding costs while ensuring product availability.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless end-to-end supply chain operations.

Requirements
