About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive Industrial Engineer to focus on optimizing their supply chain operations in Richards Bay . This role is essential for enhancing the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of their logistics and distribution networks. You will analyze end-to-end supply chain processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that streamline operations from procurement to final delivery. Working on-site, you will collaborate closely with logistics managers, warehouse teams, and external partners to drive tangible improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current supply chain processes, including inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and demand forecasting.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce lead times, minimize inventory holding costs, and improve on-time delivery rates.
• Design and optimize warehouse layouts and material flow to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
• Utilize data analysis and modeling to identify cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain.
• Collaborate with suppliers and transportation providers to improve service levels and negotiate favorable terms.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics and reporting dashboards for supply chain operations.

Requirements
