Job summary

Mycareercraft in Gauteng is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Co-ordinator based on the East Rand to own daily transport planning, yard scheduling, and outbound delivery processes. You will manage transport partners, improve delivery performance, and ensure goods move on time and within budget while maintaining accuracy and reporting.

You will work with internal teams and service providers to solve delays, maintain transport documentation, and support budgeting and vendor performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field (NQF 7).
• 3 to 5 years experience in a supply chain or transport role, with at least 3 years at a senior level.
• Solid understanding of warehousing, transport operations and supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and other relevant systems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple moving parts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating vehicle loading and offloading.
• Managing the yard schedule and daily transport planning.
• Tracking and reporting on delivery performance, fuel use, costs, and route efficiency.
• Working with internal teams and service providers to solve delays or delivery issues.
• Ensuring transport documentation is accurate and complete.
• Supporting customer delivery performance and handling any related queries.
• Participating in audits, compliance reporting, and cost control efforts.
• Assisting with budgeting and vendor performance reviews.
