Job summary

Takealot Fulfilment Solutions (TFS) is seeking a detail-oriented operations support professional in Cape Town to act as the primary contact for Customer Service and TDT delivery hubs, ensuring timely and accurate query resolution.

The role requires 1-2 years of logistics experience, matric and a relevant degree/diploma, with advanced MS Excel and MS Outlook skills. You will monitor hub performance, capture and report data, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) and a degree/diploma in Supply-Chain/ Logistics are required.
• 1-2 years experience in the field is preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English and interpret written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the TDT hubs performance with continuous inspections.
• Refer operational issues to relevant stakeholders for resolution.
• Recommend changes to management to improve procedures and customer satisfaction.
• Be the point of contact for Customer Service and TDT hubs for efficient query resolution.
• Generate reports so hubs and franchise managers are aware of performance.
• Capture data in systems to keep delivery information up to date.
• Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy.

This position reports to the Order Fulfilment Manager

Purpose of the role:

Being point of contact for Customer Service and TDT delivery hubs, ensuring query resolution

Your Responsibilities Can Include

• Monitoring the TDT hubs performance by performing continuous inspections
• Referring operational issues and/or problems in a timeous and effective manner to the relevant stakeholders for resolution
• Recommending changes to management and compliance management to improve procedures so that customer expectations are managed or exceeded
• Being point of contact for Customer Service and TDT delivery hubs, ensuring efficient and accurate query resolution
• Report generation, so that hubs, the hubs' franchisees, and Franchise managers are aware of their current performance
• Data capturing into the respective systems to ensure business and customers are up to date with deliveries
• Quality control of data
• Other duties and tasks as assigned

Qualifications And Experience

• Degree / Diploma in Supply-Chain/ Logistics

• Ability to read and write in English and interpret written instructions

• Solid communication
• Good working knowledge of internet browsers, MS Excel (advanced) and MS Outlook

• Must have an organised approach to task completion and great attention to detail
• Ability to solve problems by analysing variables and applying appropriate solutions learned through experience and proficiency in understanding the job
