Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Supply Chain Co-ordinator to create, maintain and improve the demand forecast. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing and Operations to ensure timely shipments and optimal vehicle quality through regular checks.

The role requires a strong analytical background, ERP and Excel skills, and experience with S&OP processes. You will contribute to continuous improvement and align plans across functions within a dynamic automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, statistics, or related field.
• Certification in CPIM or CSCP from APICS is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Operations to plan shipments, invoicing and deliveries of vehicles.
• Conduct regular checks and establish system/processes for efficient turnaround time.
• Take corrective actions to improve SAP and shipment accuracy.
• Track and report key performance indicators for the supply chain.
• Support the supply planning process by providing an accurate forecast.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to align demand and operations.

REPORTS TO: Group Head – Sales Operation, Demand Planning & Supply Chain

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Supply Chain Co-ordinator is a key role within the Commercial team in Stellantis. The role is responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving the demand forecast. Supply Chain Co-ordinator works closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
• Certifications in supply chain management, such as Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS, are highly beneficial.

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:

• Analytical Skills: A Supply Chain Co-ordinator should have robust analytical abilities to interpret complex issues.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with demand planning and ERP software (like SAP APO, Oracle Demantra, etc.) and proficiency in MS Excel, and other data analysis tools is required.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are needed to effectively convey complex information to various stakeholders.
• Collaboration Skills: The ability to work well with different teams and departments, such as sales, marketing, and operations.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify problems, evaluate possible solutions, and implement effective remedies in a timely manner is necessary.
• Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail is required where minor errors can have significant impacts.
• Decision-Making Skills: The ability to make sound decisions, often under pressure and with incomplete information.

EXPERIENCE:

• Having a solid understanding of the automotive industry, including its unique market dynamics and product lifecycle.
• Ideally, candidates should have several years of experience in a supply chain role and preferably within the automotive industry.
• Experience with Sales and Operations Planning processes is highly beneficial.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma. They should have the ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement them.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to prepare and plan for shipments, invoicing, and deliveries of vehicles. Ensure vehicles are always in the best quality through regular checks and preservation.
• Conduct regular checks and implement system and processes for efficient turnaround time.
• Take corrective actions to improve accuracy on SAP and shipments.
• Track and report on key performance indicators.
• Support the supply planning process by providing an accurate forecast.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns, and to ensure alignment between the demand and operational plans.
• Continually improve techniques, methods, and approaches.
