Job summary

Emeris Westville seeks a Student Life Coordinator on a fixed term contract to lead planning and execution of campus student life initiatives and events. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years event management, stakeholder management and project management experience.
• Minimum of 1 year budget management experience.
• Minimum of 1 year risk assessment and management experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' event management, stakeholder management and project management experience, preferably within a higher education or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to identification and planning of co-curricular, extracurricular, and meta-curricular campus activities and executes approved initiatives.
• Identifies student life groups and services to improve participation and longevity.
• Plans and executes student life activities and aligns with the institutional calendar.
• Collaborates with the Head: Student Experience and academic portfolios to reflect equitable offerings on the campus calendar.
• Engages with external stakeholders to enhance engagement opportunities for student life groups.
• Supports the Manager/Head with interdisciplinary projects, events and activities.
• Develops and implements communication strategies to promote campus activities and opportunities.
• Plans multimedia communication elements for omnichannel use.
• Monitors expenditures and ensures budgetary integrity.
