Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings in Centurion, Gauteng. You will ensure safety and integrity through rigorous calculations, drawings, and reports, collaborating with architects and clients.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of experience, strong software proficiency (ETABS/SAP2000/Prokon), and registration as Pr.Eng. with ECSA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering is required.
• PR.Eng. registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• Minimum 6 years of structural engineering design experience for buildings.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, Prokon).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for detailing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures using steel, concrete, and other materials.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and design reports.
• Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
• Conduct site visits for inspections and to resolve structural issues during construction.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes and standards (SANS).
