Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Structural Civil Engineer in Vereeniging to contribute to the design of innovative building structures across Gauteng. The role focuses on safety, stability, and efficiency of residential, commercial, and high-rise projects. You will lead structural analysis and detailing, coordinate with architects and contractors, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with SANS codes.

A BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering and Pr. Eng.

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
• Pr. Eng. registration with ECSA required.
• 7+ years of structural design experience for buildings.
• Proficient in structural analysis and design software (STAAD.Pro, Etabs).
• Solid knowledge of materials, structural mechanics and SANS codes.
• Experience in project coordination and construction supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures using steel, concrete, and masonry.
• Develop detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications for construction.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and consultants throughout design and construction phases.

About the Role

Our client, a respected structural engineering firm in Vereeniging , is seeking a highly skilled Structural Civil Engineer to contribute to the design of innovative building structures. You will be responsible for structural analysis, design, and detailing of buildings ranging from residential complexes to commercial high-rises. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of structural principles, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions within a collaborative and professional team setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures using steel, concrete, and masonry.
